Don Drapper on location!

AMC has an interview with Judy Kain, the actress who plays Peggy’s tedious secretary Olive. We learn her real-life kids go to school with Duck’s real-life kids, and that’s really something! But most of all we learn Elisabeth Moss can the text shit out of her iPhone.
She is the most amazing texter. She texts faster than anyone I’ve ever met in my life. Her phone is constantly in her hand. She’s like a speed demon with the texting. She can practically do it without looking down.

I have never seen this picture before. And I, sadly, thought I’ve seen them all. I made a “Mad Men” Google alert the other, and this is what I find. That and Jon Hamm had tacos for lunch yesterday.
I actually went through the New York Times from April 8, 1964, and with the help of Wikipedia tried to make sense of it. Hopefully, this will improve if — IF — I keep it up. I have Mad fever now that season 4 is only three months away.
Not from 1964, but equally exciting. Apparently, this video of cast and crew singing “Bye, Bye Birdie” was leaked, but I’m sure it was more like released. Especially since it was announced yesterday season 4 would begin July (doesn’t it always?). But, whatever, it’s here.
Casting is underway for season 4, particularly for “a handsome and creative male; a voluptuous, curvy, and cute brunette who is friendly but professional; and an affable guy who is a bit lacking in personality.” Production will begin Monday on the season premiere tentatively titled “Public Relations.”
“Bye, Bye Birdie” seems all the more apropos now that Betty left Don. And we know, or we think — I think — he’s going to be better off.
